I think im gonna drive down to Buffalo, convert my beatiful canadian dollar into a thousand monopoly (american) dollars, and take advantage of the horrible american economy. My question is........who else in canada is taking advantage of this? and How long (if not forever) will the canadian dollar stay on top? I think the loonie is for real.

First of all I am a single woman with no kids. I will be finsihing school about year with Bac. degree in Engineering and I already have Assoc. degree in criminal justice. Do canada accepts college grads with no work experience in that field? Also I notice on the website that you need 10+ years of work experience, is this general work or in that field. I started working when I was 16 and know I am 25. When I finish school I will be 26 or 27. Do I need to contact some companies in Canada first about openning there.

Hi there!

I'm going to Canada next month!
But unfortunately, $CAN is so expensive..

So I have come up with an idea that
spend US$ in Canada.
I have heard that there are many places in Canada that accepts US$, is it right?

For example,how about bookstore?
How do they calculate?
They have different prices of CAN$ and US$,
but now the exchange rates of CAN$ and US$ are not very different.

We plan to take one of the cruises from Vancouver to Alaska. Coming from the east coast of the US, we are thinking of taking the train to Seattle, WA and then the bus to Vancouver. I suspect this dumps you in the middle of town, so what's the best way to get to the boats? About how far is it and how much would it cost by either mass transport or taxi?

Terry Fox is a young Canadian who discovered he had cancer at a young age. At 18 his leg was amputated; his dream was to raise money for cancer research, the goal was $1 for each Canadian; and jog across Canada. He dipped his foot in Newfoundland on April 12th, 1980, and began his way to BC, a job across the second largest country in the world.

It rained, people didn't participate as much....sadly people weren't interested. Then things started to change...Canadians took noticed...soon there were thousands lined up on his route...

He sadly passed away before he could finish his run. His hope and courage has inspired millions to do the same. And every year, there is a marathon fundraising done around the world to honor his dream, and to end cancer.

So....where is the Terry Fox Run done in...other than Canada?
