I was going to visit some friends up in Edmonton Canada for a 2 weeks, I was traveling across the sweetgrass boarder. The Canada police guys searched my entire car, and then told me to drive around to imigration where they would ask questions. They did a back ground check and found that I was arrested for disordly conduct and since they made me pay a fine, I was denied entry and had to turn around. I would really like to try again or atleast fly into edmonton any suggestions????

For Americans who are living, or have lived, in Canada, how much do you like the change? Do you like it better than the US or not?

I've lived in Ontario for quite awhile but I was never given an english name. Now I want to add a middle name but is the name change form (30 something pages) really necessary? My mother said that her friend's daughter added a middle name without having to fill-out the change name form (30 something pages), and that the procedures were much more simpler than the name change form. Is this true? And is the change name form really necessary for just adding a middle name?

Would it be unsafe to travel to Newfoundland with a 28' 5th wheel during this time? If you are an expereinced RVer, we'd love to hear from you as we are concerned for our safety and don't want to be traveling with a 5th wheel unless it's safe.

and found it absolutely horrible. I was on vacation to Osoyoos and that was very nice, and the drive up the lake was too, but Kelowna was a bust. Does anyone else who's been there feel that way?

We are travelling from London to Las Vegas on Air Canada. The flight goes through Calgary on the outbound and Toronto, ontario on the inbound. I have chosen a connecting flight in Toronto with a 16hr gap, during this time will we be able to leave the airport to visit Toronto for the day? I have asked Air Canada staff 3 times and each time I have been given a different answer but no on seems to be certain. Any one know for sure? Thanks
