Quick and easy fix, okay- so it won't be super easy, but here goes. Dig a mile wide trench from end to end of the problem area and fill with water, then, either release some florida gators or a ton of piranhas to re-populate. On the American side on the banks of the water, Build another mile of land mines. The soil/dirt excavated from the project can be hauled of to New Orlenes to fill in the city bringing it above sea level. Problem solved.

It should be moved closer to Canada by eliminating all states north of the Mason-Dixon line. This would have two benefits for Canada:
- Florida would become a 12 hour drive from places like Montreal and Toronto.
- Canadian winters would become much warmer.

We take the soldiers in training and post them at the border. Boot camps cost us plenty of money already. Then we have them practice patience while guarding the border. They'll all be armed so they can target practice at anyone trying to jump the border or swim the gulf. It'll get them hands-on experience and save us money! CIA agents in training can ID people, since they need to learn to see through disguises and discover hiding places if they value their lives. Boarder patrol may even become unnecessary.

you should dig a really big trench and fill it with water and alligators and acid, like a medieval moat, so that them mexicans drown or burn or get eaten by the alligators if they try to cross it. That or find better ways to profit even further from all these illegal workers who do the jobs that americans don't want to do.

Fine or jail anyone who employs illegal aliens. If there are no jobs, they will not cross the border.
