Yet when you enter back in to State the US immigration treats you with dignity and respect.Everytime I drive or fly to Canada I have to put up with very cold hearted or disrespectfull officers at the port of entry.Never did I get mistreatment from Their counterparts in the US, infact the very opposite of Canadian.

Why must Canadians be so backwards compared to Americans. Vancouver has absolutely no entertainment compared to the States. They have a pathetic amusement park called PNE which is more like a small state fair then an amusement park. Why don't they build something like Six Flags, Great America, or Disneyland in Vancouver?? How long are they gonna stick to this pathetic PNE??

Just a regular envelope. Do you need extra postage? I live in US and am sending a letter to Canada. Then they will send it back to me from Canada. What do you need.

I'm going to the States soon (by land), I don't have a passport so I am going to enter by using my birth certificate. I know you need to show a photo ID, however, my driver's license expires the day of my trip. Would it matter that my driver's license is expired or not?
I want to contact the U.S customs but I can't seem to find the number.

I am wondering where is the best place in Canada to visit the Rocky Mountains. I would like to take a road trip there, mabye stop at a big city on the way, visit a few attractions there and then go camping in the mountains at a National Park. Any recomendations on parks and cities? I have no clue in which park the mountains and the scenery is the best, so if you can fill me in, that would be great!

I got an e-mail same as the others I've read from ur Q&A here in Yahoo. Same msg. I receive an employment opportunity to work in Plaza Hotel in Canada from their Personnel Manager named Ms. Rachie Brian...Please help me to know or search if there is really a job opening there, I have doubt because why they will waste their time and effort to search for an applicant from different countries..the offer is very good so for sure applicant from there in Canada itself will be hurrying up to grab their offer..so no need for them to spend money for the flight ticket of the applicants they will hire right? Please advise..Thank you so much...

I will be going to Canada for the first time, and I have some questions.
I am under the impression that green card holders (permanant residents of US) do not need to use any sort of visa to enter Canada if the purpose is to visit the country. If I am wrong, please do not hesitate to corrct me. :)

The questions are as follows:

1) I'm a green card holder, and I have a valid foreign passport. When I go thru the US-Canada border, do I need to show the officers my passport and my green card??

2) I also have a valid Canadian traveling visa which has never been used before. Do I need to notify the officer that I have a Canadian tourist visa?

3) Is there any forms to fill out? Is it one form per person or per car?

4) From your experience, how long does it take to get thru the Seattle border on Friday mornings?

5) What kind of questions do the officers ask? Just curious

6) Finally---For now, do US citizens only need to show their birth certificate and valid DL?
