Alright Be as bias as possible please!!

I am planning to move to Canada (Quebec); but will need to re-purchase all personal items, once I arrive there (i.e. furniture, beds, etc.). Are there places like Walmart; Best Buy; and others there to make such purchases?

Hi,
was someone in similar situation and what is your advice?
I can not find the green card and we planned family vacation in Canada, intend to leave in 2 days. With a green card paper copy and a valid passport, will I be able to reentry the USA on my way back? any other documents I may need to prepare to make sure I can return?
Thanks so much
Ale

I want to take a trip to Montreal with my girlfriend. We live in NYC, so we would fly there and stay in a hotel downtown. However, I went to college in a town just across the border, in upstate New York (SUNY at Potsdam). One of the days we are in Montreal, I want to rent a car and take my girlfriend to Potsdam, just for the day. Potsdam, NY is about an hour form Montreal, maybe 20 minutes across the border.
Would the car rental people give us any hassle about taking the car (rented in Canada) across the border into the US, even just for a few hours? Would there be extra fees, paperwork? Do we even need permission? Would we get stopped at the border?
Back when I went to college (10 years ago) the borders were pretty lax, but I think they have stiffened the rules a bit.

I'll be going there in several days (Nova Scotia to be exact) and I was wondering what kind of things would seem appealing. I'm know it all depends on the person, blah, blah.. so say in general. Also I'd kind of be in the middle of nowhere with a friend (so it won't be dull).. but anything you'd suggest? Oh and I'm the type that would do things that is immature; such as calling radio disney constantly, be a ninja, etc. ;D (So to conclude, [possible] random suggestions as possible). Thankies. xD

Hi, I'm an Aussie moving to BC around xmas time. I land in Vancouver and then have to go to Prince George. Will I be able to drive there/can I get thru? I have to drive because I don't want my 2 young pups to freeze to death in the cargo hold of a plane. Being from OZ I don't know what to expect.
Thanks.

OK, i tried to ask this question once, but here goes again. here is a question to all Cnadians. why? why do you guys have independence day? the U.S has a great reason. we separated from england. why? why do you guys have your fake independence day on the same week as America. why? you got 365 days to choose from. Americans such as me only go to canada to only see shows that are not held in the U.S. like the Grand Prix. next thing you know, you are going to have memorial day, then flag day, then even president day. lol.....you guys are so funny......
