Ambassador Bridge Crossing?

I live in Detroit,MI and me and a few of my cousins want to go on a trip to Canada. We are 18 and we dont have passports. I heard we can get through with our birth certificates but do we have to be accompanied by an adult or have to be an adult to get through?

If you are 18, you ARE considered adults. But you should have picture id as well as your birth certificate.
