No. The laws are changing, but they aren't complete yet. You need a passport to fly. But land and sea crossings don't need a passport until sometime next year. And the date is tentative as the US Government can't keep up with implementing their own new requirements. (They even suspended requirements for having a passport when flying for the summer. You only needed to had applied for one.)

No you just need a full license from whatever State you live in and a birth cert right now. You need a passport if you fly in. Soon you will need one to drive too, but the date keeps changing. It's best to get a passport anyway then it's no issue.

As soon as it becomes manditory that Candains need one to enter into the States then you will need one so keep listening to the news for a date. I know it is coming soon but I am unsure of the exact date.

Yes, it's a new law I believe...you need a passport to go to mexico and canada

Before 9/11 one didn't only a birth cert. But thats all changed. Yes your gonna need one.
also, they use to be picky about DUI convict's.
