The Bay is a chain of department stores. It was formed years ago by the Hudson Bay Company (HBC). They also bought out the Morgan's Dept Stores and merged them into The Bay and then they bought the Robert Simpson Co. Ltd. dept. stores and eventually closed them down. HBC also owns the Zellers chain of discount dept stores.
