Whenever I go to Canada I see Canadians with either a dull or placid look.

Well, all you nice people, I was born in Canada but from the age of 18 have lived and worked all round the world. I stand by my question.

Yah Pamela Anderson is REAL dull looking, your question shows you are uneducated and have never traveled. If you had ever been in Canada you would not be asking this question for any other reason than trolling.

Well, well......
I have travelled to lots of places and find people everywhere to be of many different personalities - for example there are interesting people everywhere, there are boring people everywhere, exciting people everywhere ........... not just Canada.
The trick is to find people you like and hang out with them!
Also, don't mistake placid and peaceful for Dull - it's not.

They may not be as exciting as you, but they are friendlier.
I liken Canada as a country like America, without any of the bullshit.
Canadians fight in wars, (and fight well when need be). They got into WWII much earlier than the US and joined the RAF and helped turn the tide, but that is hardly a measure of character.
