Other - Australia

My partner and I are going to Tasmania for 3 or 4 days. I'm 20 (he's a bit older) and we need things to do.

We are not interested in sight seeing.

Where can we play pool near Salamanca Place? (We'll have a car so we can travel).

I was going to organise a trip to the snow for some snowboarding although there is no SNOW! :(

Any wine tasting or anything like that? Can we do paint balling? Is there any theatres we could go see? Ballet? (Hehe! He'd love the ballet).

Please help me with entertainment in Tasmania!

- My father owns a restaurant at Salamanca Pl so we'll definatley check out the Markets on Saturday.

We are arriving Thursday 12 July 2007.

- also, we're from Melbourne.

I'm asking this question because it seems EVERY Nsw person goes for Nsw(blues) and LOTS or SOME people in QLD go for Nsw! Everybody LOVES nsw?? why? any 1 LOVE qld??

Hey, I'm wondering if there are any other Aussie's out here that get even a bit annoyed when someone (normally from America) spells "Aussie" like Ozzie or Ossie or says Ossie? I don't know why but it really annoys me.

travelling from ballarat to Albury and have never seen the snow, just want a little play, not to ski or need wheel chains to get to, just a quick snowball and not have to drive an hour off highway to get to it.... thanks!

I'm planning to travel to Australia over Christmas and New Year and the cheapest airfare I can find is $2600. I realize it's peak season for traveling but 2 years ago I was able to fly to the Philippines at Christmas for only $2000.

I thought the zoo was the cleanest and best i have ever seen when I visited it back in 2005. Plan to see it again next year.

Hi myself and my other half are looking to move down under. But we here it is based on a points system? i'm 32 and i work for ford as a manager but i am a fully trained mechanic my other half is 22 and works in shipping. As yet we are not married but will be before we move...

Also we have to dogs that we will be taking with us any info on moving them would be great to.
