Just curious...something was mailed to me in virginia from south dakota on June 22nd...Just curious if anyone knew approx. how long that would take?

Would that be South Dakota in the Northern Territory to Virginia in Victoria? Guess not, so what is this question doing in the Travel - Australia section?

Well, let see. It goes form south dakota, fly to Brisbane then take a detour to Darwin, flies to Broome then to Melbourne. After which it takes the train mail to Goulburn, change station at Yass which then goes to Canberra and gets an overnight truck to Sydney and flies out to LAX and then snail mail to virginia...
Hmmmmm.... about 5 weeks?
