I want to download a good high resolution and big road map of Australia, can anyone give me site address so that I can download the map, its very urgent.

For great high resolution maps you will have to pay for it

I've never come across any maps online that is as good as you would buy.
Where are you? Most news agency or good book stores sell maps from all over the world, may be better to go that way.
Other option is I have a very high resolution maps of NZ on software which co-insides with a GPS ... maybe buy the Aussie software of maps...?

The only map system I know is http://www.whereis.com.au this zooms in and out to get broad and fine detail.
Australia is a very big place and the street directories for Melbourne and Sydney are thick books. Would you expect a similar map to be available for the USA or Europe? Australia is bigger than either of them.
If you explained what exactly you want and why you need it, a more precise answer might be forthcoming.
