Asia Pacific - March 2007

The other day that I asked the question, I was not specific about which San Francisco.
The reason I ask this, is that I am worried. I have a friend that went there to marry a woman he met in the Internet. I received some text messages from him, saying things are really bad (like gangs on the streets and such). I have looked in the Internet, but I really don't find any information and the short text messages, are not informative enough. Help!!

I want to sight see and go out clubbling. I don't plan on spending much money. Mainly I just want to realx in tokyo. I live in LA, so comparing to LA how much more expensive is Tokyo.

i'm going to thailand in a couple of weeks, i've heard it should be really hot and being a beach bum am happy about this, however recent weather reports have shown thunderstorms over the last week and look to continue. i'm going for 3 weeks, is there a chance i won't come home tanned? also what is thailand like in april, ive read mixed reviews. i will be going to bangkok, phuket, phi phi island and koh pangnon.

I'm moving to japan within a few months and was wondering if anyone has every been to Aoyama. thats the area I want to stay at but I cant find much on it.
