I am travelling on Sunday night and it would be quite nice to take some magazines and a music player for the eight and a half hour flight.

I'm wondering how women feel about the new "liquids" rule before boarding a plane. They're making women throw out perfumes, cosmetics, and other essentials. Also, what do you do when you get to your destination without makeup? Do you buy more when you get there?

What does everyone feel about this?

I watched a movie on th many many reasons that they think is was a cover up, it got to me. I'm not going to say what I feel about this because of the response I will get. I just am curious to know if anyone feels the way that I do.

For example...There was only a 16 foot hole in the Pentagon, they claim that it wasn't an airplane. (If it really was a 16 foot hole, there was NO way an Airplane crashed into it.)

But again, Im not giving my point of view.

What does everyone think?

Cover up or not?

Getting on a flight is going to be harder now with recent events. So, have your travel plans changed, or will you fly as usual?

I work at the airport and I was at work this morning when this was all happening and I saw it. I got very rude responses from people who didn't believe me and said that I was making these things up. I just wanted to say..."Now What?!?!" Everyone knows about it now. Sometimes when you are at the airport, you find out information before the news gets a hold of it. All I was doing was giving a heads up to people traveling today and letting them know to get to the airport early to avoid delays at the ticket counter and security. I thought it was nice of me, If I was a passenger I would have appriciated the information so I could re-pack my carry-on prior to getting to the airport. Does anyone think this was wrong of me? To be nice to passengers and save them from repacking all of their luggage at the airport? Should I have gotten such rude reactions from people?

While the liquid explosive concept does raise concern. perhaps it is just something put out there to distract from other more serious attempts being planned?

Is this giving them too much credit?

I'm a gamer and a lot of the guys I game with live in the Toronto Area and want me to come up there for a week or so. If I go the trip would be on Aug. 31 and if I need a passport I don't think that is enough time to get one.

How they banned beverages, toothpaste, hair gel, cream, suntan lotion, etc. from carry-on luggage. How wack is that?

How did most people feel? Was there a lot of hostility? Complaining? How did you feel? Are you frustrated with security? Were some people extraordinarily inconvenienced?

taught me two things how precious life is and each day is so important. I was planning to see the World Trade Center this weekend. How are we as people safe if we can't bring a coffee on an early flight? Why does our freedom and beliefs have to have the most awful effects on certain people. Pull the troops out, how can we change or help people (not the majority) if they dont want the help. It makes me think twice about having children.Where do you stand?

I am leaving from New Orleans tomorrow traveling to Manchester, UK. Do I need to plan on packing/checking my purse and bringing my stuff in a plastic bag? Everything I have read about the plastic bag is only for flights originating in the U.K. Also, can I bring a book to read?

Ok, today sees everyone and their mother having to ditch expensive perfumes, colognes, medications, wines, and other items of significant value into boxes provided by airport security personnel. What happens to this stuff? Does the personnel get first dibs on the stuff at the end of their shifts? Does it go to a higher purpose such as being donated to a charity that may be able to make some money off of them? I know people didn't ditch their ipods or other electronics and probably stowed them but I'm thinking there might be a lot of drunk TSA security screeners in the coming days!
