Call Delta and inquire with them.
It may understandably be difficult to get through, you might contact your travel agent for help, also.

That depends on the type of fare you purchased. Did you buy a refundable ticket? If not, the airline may charge a fee to change the dates. Under the current circumstances, the airline may waive the fee. You need to contact Delta and see if you can change the dates. Now, if you have a non-refundable ticket, you will most likely not get a full refund, but like I said, you need to contact Delta.

Too bad you can't mail some of your medicine to a p.o. box or an address at your destination.
Anyways, your ticket was more than likely non-refundable. Terror in the skies..blah. You sound like you just heard that off of cnn.
Don't let the terrorists win. Otherwise we're no better than france. =)

I worked in customer service for 31 years for an airline..let this calm down a day or 2 and then call delta and ask..I'm guessing they probably will let you off the hook (Personally I think they should--but I never did make the rules).

There are about 154,000 Americans over american in airplanes at anyone time, and thats just America domestic flights.
There has been no terrorist attack, only a foiled plot which shows that the anti-terrorism division in the US and UK are doing their jobs.
You really have nothing to worry about.
