You are MUCH safer today than the day before yesterday. and even then you were very safe.

You'll be fine. Do you see the US Government shutting down all or even one airport due to a bomb they think they may not have seen? No they haven't. There are hundreds of planes in the sky the chances of you being on one that has a bomb is like 1 in 1000. If you look at our past history since 9/11 there hasn't been one plane blown up since then. So don't worry and enjoy your flight. You'll have fun and you'll get to assert some independence. This is a great thing for you to do. You'll have no bragging rights at school next year if you chicken out of a solo flight.

You serious? Dude just go...lol...you're going to miss out at a wonderful place to visit....haha the chances are of you having an accident up there is low.Actually you have a higher chance of dying just driving to your neighborhood market or driving to the airport for that matter XD

I have an idea for you...
According to me, you are made up of ur body and ur soul. They are the ones who control ur decisions and ur life. The body always acts and asks u for physical pleasure and unwanted stuff.
On the other hand ur soul spks only for ur good and takes u on the rite path. But the sad part is we all do what out body says....
Now the idea is
Close ur eyes and ask your soul... Ask ur innerself and it will never let u down.

Don't be scared. Security at airports has never been tighter than it is today. The chance of something bad happening to you is almost zero. Don't change your plans because of this. You should definitely go.
