You can ask at the post office or library. They will give you a form and a list of what you need to bring when you turn it in.

If you are from the US, You need to get your picture first, for example you can get one at Walgreens for $6-7 Dollars. Then go to your local Post Office, you can apply for a passport there. Be sure to have your social security card as well as your birth certificate.
They will give you your SSC right away back, but they will keep the Birth Certificate and mail it to you when you get your passport. It takes about 8 weeks.

you seem to be an Indian... please visit the regional passport office get a form... get it filledup... get 8 photos with red background... your degree certificate... birth certificate... and fees of Rs.1000

Not sure where you are from.......Here in Australia you go to the post office..........It could be different else where but you could go and see.
