I am planning on purchasing a cruise for my Mom for her 50th B-Day. She would love warm beach or Alaska. I am purchasing on a budget and I would like to buy for two so one of us kids can go with her (I don't want her going alone). My Dad passed away May 2006 and she would like to maybe get back into the dating game so a singles cruise maybe ok...I really don't know much about them though? This is my first cruise experience. This is quite strange, all day today in Vancouver we had nice sunny, blue skies with just a few tiny clouds here and there with a day time high of 7 degrees Celsius, but Seattle it has been overcast, and raining for most of the day. We're geographically so close, and usually our weather is generally the same, but today was much different.

I would choose California. Why? My fave show airs there, someone I'm inlove with that I haven't seen forever is there, my fave foot ball team is there, and it is sunny and has beaches, and I'm a total beach girl.

I am soo sick of these cubans refusing to learn english. It's so bad that you cant even get a minimum wage job in Miami unless you are biligual. To add insult to injury when you drive around some neighborhoods all of the store fronts are in spanish. It's as if you are in a foreign country. This is America. Speak english. What you do in your own hosehold is your own affair but in the workplace english should be mandatory. Its isnt fair for the Americans who were actually born here. I think if you move to this country and you want to enjoy the benefits of living here you need to learn the language and not expect everyone to learn your language.

Does anyone know if the General store ( the big grocery store ) in Yosemite village is open year round? I am planning a camping trip in late December of '07 and would like to know. We usually bring enough food and drinks, but one can never be sure and it would be nice to get additional supplies.

I'm an amateur photographer who lives in San Jose, CA and I was wondering if anyone knows of any attractive places that aren't too far from my area to go for a shoot.
