It's tough to become a host. However, if you're truly hungry and eager to impress and become successful, the first step is to apply when you see a job ad. You will need certain qualifications too. Knowing someone in the field helps too. Pay varies depending on experience and guest satisfaction and naturally, your supervisor's opinion of your performance. The job of casino host takes several things - experience in working in that hotel and "juice". You get a job and work you way up, look good (male or female), and cultivate the casino supervisors and bosses to supsport your move to host.
Do not think it is like the show "Las Vegas" because it is NOT. The lady hosts do not wear revealing outfits, bounce around the casino, date other casino employees, rather sit in an office and find "whales" and then make their stay fantastic.
