That's good for a day or two worth of shopping for fake namebrands at the street markets...jeans: max 100HKD, polo shirt 3 for 100HKD, belt 30HKD, cK underwear 5 for 100HKD, handbad 200HKD, DVD set 200HKD, etc.

2000 HKD may not be enough if you go for genuine branded goods, especially true if you go to Park Lane Shopping Blvd and Pacific Place in Admiralty etc. For faked ones, you can still afford to lots of it, especially if you go to Temple Street Night Market and Ladies Market. If you don't mind second hand goods, you can also make a trip to Ap Lei Chau's Horizon Plaza, 2 Lee Wing Street, Ap Lei Chau, HK. For normal ones, its more than enough as the average cost for all those items you quote will be in hundreds of HKD only. Only if you need to buy lots of it, than you need to condsider to raise up your budget. Or else, its really more than enough.

LOL 2000 will not get a lot ofanything like Designer bags, Brand clothing, Cosmetics, etc. Heck the transportation in HK itself would cost you a 1000 alone.

I guess it just depends what you want to shop for, one USs dollar is like 7.50 HKD, so you might want to bring more money. but if you go to stanley market and kowloon city you can find really nice deals. oh yea nathan rd has great shops too.
