I am in Tokyo to videotape a project. A lot of the scenes would involve filming in public, with innocent passer-byes likely ending up in a lot of the shots. I've been trying to research filming laws in Japan, but so far have turned up nothing, besides that the director of Babel filmed in Tokyo without a permit, and the cops chased him away from some locations. My project is a lot smaller, involving about four or five people all together. What are the laws about filming like this?

I have been checking out customs web pages for Japan and have seen the customs declaration forms that have to be filled out, but no where can I find a listing of medications and supplements that Japan allows a tourist to bring with them into the country. I'm due to visit in September and need to know.

Moved to Boston area recently. No can do. Portland OR or Seattle WA? Discuss.?
I moved to the Boston area recently and after visiting NYC and living here for a while I've decided the north east is just not my style. I lived in Phoenix AZ for 5 years, LA for 2 years, and San Fran area for 17 years (which is nice but far too expensive).

The area I've liked the most is the northwest. I have family there and I've stayed there for long periods of time, so I think I have a good idea of what its like.

My question is as a creative (musical) gay man which city would you pick? Seattle or Portland?

I think the people in the northwest are way more laid back like me . . . this whole north eastern overly educated way of acting is getting old, and I just dont think the area is for me. Plus northwest is much cheaper and the pay rate is similar for my job (cat scan).

Just want some opinions.

I am going through the immigration process to emigrate to Australia on a skilled visa with a view of obtaining perminent residency in 4 years. We are using an immigration company to help as it is mind boggling all the paper work.
What I want to know is, is it normal to be excited about and eger one day and to feel slight reservations and nervous the next day. I seem to be up and down but know it is the right decision. It will give our two sons a better chance in life too. We are both nurses and will both want jobs. Sometimes i worry that we may not make friends. We are all friendly people and respect we are going to be in Australia and will do things Aussie style.

A vegetarian friend and I are planning to visit Liverpool and would like to know of any good veggie places to eat. We are looking for somewhere with a great atmosphere as much as good food - the more unique and interesting the better!

Any suggestions? Thanks.

If a married couple, about to retire, wants to get away from big cities, and find a place that has reasonably nice weather and is economical, is Erie, PA, a good place?

The reasons for choosing Erie are that it's a medium sized city, not close to a big city, and that it doesn't get hot very much there in the summer. A lot of other cities the same size have summer daytime highs averaging 90F. Erie sometimes gets to 90F, but not as often, and doesn't stay that hot for very long.

Some people like snow, and dislike summer heat. A good winter low is 20F. If some nights go below zero, that would be tolerable, as long as it's only some nights, and not the whole winter.

Does Erie have a bad mosquito problem? Does it ever get flooded by Lake Erie? What other problems should people be aware of when deciding whether to move there?

I will be visiting Liverpool for a few days in September (07) and was wondering if there are any pretty green spaces in the area. Any nice parks, open spaces, lakes for scenic boat rides?? (yes, I know I may be asking too much with that last one!)

I really like the city, but would love to escape the concrete and crowds for an hour or two. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

World Cup Travel.

At the station, 3 Jamaicans buy a ticket each and watch as 3 Trinis buy just one ticket for them all.

'How allyuh going on only one ticket?' asks one of the Jamaicans

'Watch an' see nah,' answers one of the Trinis.

They all board the train. The Jamaicans take their respective seats but all three Trinis cram into a toilet and close the door behind them. Shortly after the train departs, the conductor comes around collecting tickets. He knocks on the toilet door and says 'Ticket please.'

The door opens just a crack and a single arm emerges with a ticket in hand. The conductor takes it and moves on. The Jamaicans see this and agree it was quite a clever idea. So after the game, they decide to copy the Trinis style on the return trip and save some money.

When they get to the station, they buy one ticket for the return trip. To their astonishment, the Trinis don't buy a ticket at all!!!

'Whey boy! Whah happen tuh all yuh? How all yuh travelling wit
