I've got to say - I'm a huge fan of the West End of St. Thomas. It's quiet, the beaches are rocky but the snorkeling is great, and it's where the Farmers live!

Totally agree with St. John. Probably the most beautiful island I have ever been to and I have been to many. St. John is a quick ferry ride (30 min) from Red Hook in St. Thomas.

St John is the most beautiful place to live in the USVI. But I think finding a job and apartment, your best bet is on St Thomas.

good luck

St John is indeed gorgeous......only 3,000 people, 65% National Park........but.this year the AVERAGE price of a home on STJ went over ONE MILLION dollars.

If you can afford it great. Otherwise St Thomas is the bet.
