I see we have a newcomer on the forum, if it isn't Alf or Bull in disguise! Never mind, although I do not agree one iota with Oom Paul and think he's probably provoking, I notice that when Wrrr, Jacobite and Ayiza come out with the black equivalent they even have their apologists!.Notice how many thumbs up old Oom Paul has already got as well.
It's useless reasoning with hardcore boere like him, but then as Mr Zim said many threads ago, all "opinions" are valid......!

I am looking for something within a 4-5 hour drive from East Tennessee. We live near Gatlinburg and we have stayed there a bunch of times so we're not really looking to stay there for our honeymoon. We are on a very small budget and just want to get away for the weekend. Wanted to drive down to Myrtle Beach but the weather says there are going to be thunderstorms all weekend so that kind of cuts out the beach. Any other suggestions?

I'm sorting out my holidays with my other half. After recently visiting Rome I would love to start visiting places with similar historical interest and enjoyment factor. This could be either other places in Italy or any other country.
