Actually Greeks and Turks look Spanish, Italian, etc because ALL those groups of people are part of the cacausian groups. Greeks looked like that before the Romans came to the region. I can refer many ancient Greek statues that confirm this. The regions of Southern/Eastern Europe & Anatolia had so many civilizations through out the ages that intermixed with one another which is why you have people who look similar from those regions. To claim otherwise is quite foolish and shows peoples ignorance on human evolution/history and migration.

Greek and turkish genes combined very moderately, because of devout variations. We do not appear such a lot alike, truthfully. Not any longer than we appear like Italians or Spanish, as you stated. So it's almost always a mediterranean factor, now not always because of contemporary mixes (just like the ottoman interval).

Please, this is travel Greece, it is not for anthropology.
It is possible, because most of Earth is with inhabitants of native and new inhabitants, America is fresh example.But I don't know why native culture is cover by new and this is every where in the world. I think New culture keep in self a soul of native culture, but new is every where dominant.
