Travel - 18 February 2007

What is the best way to get from Johannesburg airport to our hotel near Kruger? Should we rent a car? Are there buses that run that route? We don't intend to drive into Kruger, so a rented car will only be from/to Joburg airport.... Thanks.

I have tix for anywhere US airways travels. I want to accrue a lot of mileage and I want to go overseas to someplace really cheap. Any suggestions? Where I dont want to go: UK, France, Spain, Italy, anywhere in the caribbean, as I have already gone.
I keep hearing great things about Thailand and being able to have a bungalow on the beach for less than 8US a day! Any suggestions, prices to vacation, and mileage are greatly appreciated.

hey everyone....im going to cancun pretty soon, and i was wondering when you think it would be ok for me to go hang out with my shirt, doing what kind of stuff?.....do u know any bars, clubs, places, etc where i can go shirtless? or activities? i know its gonna be hot and cant wait to have fun.....thanks for the details in answering!!

I'm going on a trip to see my boyfriends family in June or July. That may make this a little more easier. I'm not sure how long our stay is but does anyone know anything fun such as tours or attractions in Savannah? We might occasionally take a trip to the beach down in Florida or maybe just hit Tybee Island in Georgia. I'm lookin' to get outa philly because of all the violence and *hit. My question is being that I happen to be gay and black all my friends tell me to move to the ATL, but I am also intrested now in Houston as a place to live. Would I be better of in Atlanta or Houston being 22, black, and gay? How's the nightlife in Houston? Is the city too country, or will someone like myself adapt well coming from the northeast? Do I need a car? Where to live? I might be working at Methodist Hospital in downtown H-town.

We were going to send a 12 year old cousin to london for a week so she could stay with her grandparents, but on all the sites we went to (such as expedia and orbitz), they said something along these lines:

"Due to airline restrictions, we can only book children ages 15+ on trips without adult or senior travelers"

Does this mean you have to be 15 or orlder to fly alone now, or is it just that they can't book it online?

Anyone encounter similiar problems?

ok, got some good answers so far. if tiajuana is a "junkyard" then what border town do you think i should visit instead? somewhere south of arkansas would be best. but anything midwest would do.
