Im planning 6-12months in Oz, flying to Sydney in May 07.
Im planning to go it alone, well with the help of an organisation called Bunac....although its still kinda alone..

Whats peoples veiws, thoughts or experiances of go travelling alone?

i'm looking hotel or pensione house in manila.....i know some hotels there but i want to stay less than 1000php per night.then i need air con,hot and cold water,catv, and crean in room.....then located in malate or ermita near ROBINSON MALATE.....if you know web site of some hotels...pls let me know......again the rate is less than 1000php.......regards.

Hi, yesterday i was on a Air Finland flight from Faro(portugal) to Luton (London). 15 mins. into the flight the worst noise ever happned. A snapping and breaking noise and the engine had stoped! We looked at the air stewards face and we could tell something really bad had happened. The pilot announced that we would be making an emergency landing at Lisbon (portugal). We had fire engines and ambulances following us down the run way and taxi ways to a remote stand. The noise when it happened was a grrrrrrr'ing noise and very loud and noticable. The whole plane didn't seem right from take off and the pilot announced 15 mins. in that the engine had failed. The Air Finland plane sat on that stand for the rest of the night and is still there now. We finally made it back to luton airport last night at 1am. What could of caused this? There were no damage marks or anything to the engine. it looked fine when we got off.This plane has never crahsed (A boing 757-200). It has to rolls royes engines

Not some resort, but not Mexico City either. Some place I can get a cerveza and listen to some music and go to an Internet cafe but eat at good taco stands and meet nice people.
