I know it well and it is a very good hotel. Very close to the park and to Baker Street for the Sherlock Holmes museum and Madam Tussuad's and Baker Street station has very good tube connections so you can basically get anywhere you need within 20 mins I should think.

Hampton courtroom Maze. those are my little one's favourites (different than Hamleys and Harrods as we are yet to pass) There are a large style of lighting fixtures fixtures, timber and Santa's grottos throughout London at christmas.

No. But Regents Park Holiday Inn is very good.

I can't speak for the quality of the hotel itself but its location is perfect.
