what kinda things to bring along and needed over there.?

Always carry U.S. dollars-they're widely accepted.
Carry shoes with traction- the rocks at the falls are slippery because of the mist.
Carry a camera- its beautiful there, but also a handy dandy weapon(pepper spray or stick) coz of the hooligans. Don't walk at night, take a cab instead, its not too safe.

I think it falls in the malaria belt. Check with your doc and if necessary get pills, sprays or whetever you decide to use.
