I have 9 days to go on holiday. I spent the last 8 years holidays whiling away my days swinging in a hammock on the more remote beaches of Kophangan in Thailand.
Anyone know anywhere nearer, but as beautiful?

In Paris I bought an oil cloth paint apron for my toddler that has Elmer the elephant on it... She wears it when we have "art time" together and it makes us both happy.

Where did you get something really special or unique?

I have never taken a cruise before and would like to go this coming March. Any suggestions from any seasoned cruisers out there for the best March destination or Cruise Line? All I know is I want to be treated like a Princess!...;-)

in december i'm going from london to leysin(switzerland) and i want to go by train the whole way...but i dont know how\where... ideally for my family of 4 we each have a 'pass' of some kind that will enable us to travel on just about any train in france, Switzerland(and maybe belgium and germany) to get us there and back. --if we have to buy a seperate eurostar ticket its fine- trains in UK are not a problem either... oh and the booking will have to be done on the net...

We will be attending a prayer congress in dallas texas. Due to limited budget we opted to pay for the package that does not include the hotel. We plan, instead, of checking into a cheaper motel/inn instead. Should we reserve for a room in advance or just walk into the motel/inn upon arrival?
