They must use the exterior of something, it looks like its got a massive waterfall coming from the roof all the way down at the front of the hotel. They used to use the exterior of the Mandalay Bay and when the storyline of rebuilding the Montecito happened i assumed it was because Mandalay no longer wished to let them use it, so they moved onto another.

NCIS is a spin-off of JAG. so as meaning JAG all started first, then Bellisario, the writer, made 2 episodes the place it concentrated around this NCIS group. and because that rated so properly they went forward and created NCIS as all of us realize it. the comparable element occurred those days on NCIS while Gibbs and McGee went to Las Vegas, and now they're coming up a spin-off of the spin-off talked approximately as NCIS: Las Vegas, i think. i think of that would furnish help to. BTW, i've got by no potential heard of a bypass-over with regulation and Order. which would be in certainty impossible through fact the two exhibits have no longer something in ordinary as a ways through fact the creators are worried. u may be refering to the actuality that regulation and Order, like JAG, has all started quiet some spin-offs, the main recent being regulation and Order uk. i understand that's notably long winded, yet optimistically that solutions ur question. :D

I don't think they use a specific one - unless they want to spend a boatload of cash getting licensing rights.
