who will win?
i would make my bet on federer
considering his perspicaciousness, he wouldn't make the same mistake like losing his cup at montreal

Who else thinks Serena Williams, not only needs to apoligize for her bad manners after her losing match, but also looks more and more like a man?

She is an awesome player and a great role model for girls.
I watched her show and I liked her even more. Why are so many people so negative about her. She is just another one of God's children.

This is an all-Russian semifinal match. Kuznetsova is currently ranked 4th, Chakvetadze 6th. Kuznetsova leads the head to head 2-0 but Chakvetadze has improved much since the last time they met in 2006.

Venus lead the head to head 7-1. But the last time they played was like in 2003 or 2004.

I love tennis, I started to dedicate my free time playing tennis, but the problem is in my tennos class theres mostly nerds. I get real embarrased when my friends say that tennis is a dumb gay sport...The question is how can tennis be a nerdy sport if Andy Roddick, Serena Williams, etc play it and they do't look nerdy at all....I need advice what should i do?

With huge amounts of Russian and Eastern European tennis players coming through, several of them winning or else "destined" to win big tournaments and slams should there be a Russian or E.European slam?
After all there has to be a big tennis following in those countries, and if i can stereotype some of the residents of those countries may not be able to support thier home players in forign countries.
Especially also considering a depleted British following and a lack of exceptional tallent coming through in the countries whihc host the slams (especially Australia and France!) Is it time we add another one, another aspect!
And if so what surface would you choose. Clay? I guess not. And do we ant to see anymore slams on hard courts? So should be have another grass tournemtn? I guess in Russia no!
So should they be more adventurous? Should it be played indoors? On carpet (or rubber) surfaces, or else on a suspended court or even, maybe, on wood?

I think it should be Roddick because he hasn't lost a set yet while Federer already played 4 sets twice..

"Had Serena played her game, she would have won the match".. how is that?!! Why didn't Serena give her best if that is the argument?.. Justine was so good and forced Serena to commit errors throughout the match.. that's it

I mean between Australian Open and French Open, there is a pretty long gap of around 4 months. Whereas between the other 3 grand slam, there are only one month gap. And after the US Open, the next major tournament is the Master Cup and WTA Tour Championship.

Jan: Australian Open
March: ??
May: French Open
July: Wimbledon
September: US Open
November: Year End Championship

What about another grand slam that is played indoor on carpet held in Asia, probably Japan? What do you think?

I was watching the match of Nadal with some guy ranked 15th name David Fererr and he seem to have an answer for every hit Nadal made. Nadal couldn't shake him off. Towards the end, Nadal new he wasn't going to pull it out, he started to retaped his knees. On the 4th set, Nadal kind of got hurt from going after the ball so fast, he grabbed his knee and went down. I don't know if it's actually painful or if he's just crying like a baby knowing he can't dig himself out of the hole. I'm all pissed now that he lost.
