How does he still get sponsors?
Please, correct me if I'm wrong.

He just has has power- that's pretty much it. How does this equate and all around good tennis player?

His career record speaks for itself, as does his world ranking. The other answer suggesting that he doesn't have what it takes to win a grand slam anymore is probably right.
So no, he does not 'suck' at tennis. And also remember he was also one of only a handful of players to succesfully beat Federer in the last couple of years (although this may not be documented on the ATP site, as it was a smaller event)

He's average with a powerful serve. He's got an attitude problem which is why he will never be phenominal like Federer and which is also why he is going to lose today.
P.S. He would have lost to Gimelstob if the match wasn't compromised.
Addition: He put up a good fight, but like I said he has a powerful serve, but his emotions get the best of him and Federer continues :)

He's a very mediocre player with a nice serve. His return, forehand, backhand, movement, and volleys are no better than most players ranked 30-50 in the world. But his serve can bail him out when (frequently) he can't do much with anything else.

I don't think he sucks. He just doesn't have the ability to win majors anymore. He is still winning tournaments, remember he did just win the Legg-Mason in D.C. He just needs a little more game to go with his booming serve.

I don't like Roddick anymore. I believe its because he got cocky way too fast in the game. IMO, he tries to like John McEnroe. NOT!
