After seeing him in Montreal i think he has a decent chance to top Roger Federer and win the US Open.

1. Andy Roddick
2. Rafael Nadal
3. Marcos Baghdatis
4. Tommy Haas
5. Michael Russell (I picked him because he's from Michigan and thats we're I live too.)

Your probably wondering why I didn't pick Federer. I don't like rooting for him because you always know he'll win. So thats why I cheer on the underdogs.

Is it Sharapova? But she has left Russia a long time ago and lives in USA now. Is she the most popular in Russia?

Or Davydenko, Kuznetsova, Dementieva, Chakvetadze, Youzhny?

What is the reason for this? I see most men playing 5 sets when women are playing 3 to win the game. Is this just one of the rules?

In professional tennis, it's pretty obvious that the men are much better than the women, their shots are harder, so are there serves, ect...

But what I'm wondering, is that if the WTA and and ATP tours fused, where do you think the women would fit? Is my theory completely wrong and Henin would still be number one over Federer? Or would they even make the cut, is it possible like sharapova or henin or others wouldn't even be able to beat any of the ATP ranked players? What do you think?

What do you think? At 17, Sharapova has won Wimbledon and before she was 20, she already won another grand slam, US Open. Does her career peak too early and starts to go downhill from now or does she still have very bright future?

I feel a bit disappointed because i was excited when i saw the draw and noticed that Sharapova would play Vaidisova in 4th round for the 1st time ever. That would be an interesting match. But both of them blew that away by losing in 3rd set. What a disappointment. :(

Last year (2006), she was really in her best form ever, winning so many tournaments easily. This year, she was still in her top form in the Australian Open. she reached her peak in Semi-final when she defeated Clijsters convincingly. That was one of her best match ever. But after than everything went wrong. In the final, Serena trashed her and until now, her results are inconsistent and she can't really get back to her best form yet. What's wrong with her?
