all i seem to hear each time is that team GB is at the first hurdle, and as they havnt won...thats the last i hear about it.

do all the 1st round losers have to wait another couple of years for their next game? how many games would GB have to play if they went and won the tournament? and have GB ever won it before?

Does it matter how you grip the racquet, or what form you take when hitting the ball, or your footwork, as long as you can play right?

The womens game is for sure interesting, but even though they draw the same crowds no feamle tennis player could beat any of the male players in the top 50. Could you imagine if federer played serena williams. To understand this you have to watch tennis live to understand the difference in the quality between the mens and womens game. On tv they adjust the pace that the players hit the ball so the viewers can see it better. Look at what happened to michelle wie. That proved why women golfers don't get paid the same.

Tennis is undergoing many different changes. They're making it mandatory for top players to play all the important events, and with new rules, players will face possible suspensions.

I find this decision really stupid, because they've already shortened the schedule for a longer offseason. This means players will have to play a lot of tennis in a shorter period of time. This could lead to a lot more injuries for top players, which will cause major tournaments to suffer.

Not only that, but suspending players for missing tournaments is absolutely stupid. The players should have a choice of the bigger tournaments they choose to play. It seems that right is being taken from them. I think the ATP & WTA cares more about making money than tending to the real needs of the players. Keep in mind, the players have to play long matches, then travel a far distance to play even more. They become mentally and physically worn out.

What's your take on this?

I have a pretty big serve and my forehand and backhand isn't weak, but it's not that strong. how can i hit harder groundstroke with consitensy.

Jankovic blames the lineman for her loss despite the fact that she is a professional player and should learn to overcome such things and retain her composure. Even Lindsay said "In professional tennis you have to deal with line calls." Jankovic also said that "I didn't train much and it's tough to get motivated here." Why aren't more people calling her out on her excuses like they do the Williams sisters?

How come Lindsay can imply that she was thankful that her opponent "blew up" and gave her the chance to win but Serena can't say her opponent hit some lucky shots, or that her opponent won because she wasn't at her best?

Who wins the point if you don't hit the ball while over the net and you never touch the net? You just reach over and then come back to your side without touching anything.

I love when they try to come up with all kinds of excuses about his achievements, like oh the competition is weak, not too many net players, he is too lucky etc, etc.
These haters can't really man-up and admit he is the best that we've ever seen. I really believe these haters know that he is the GOAT but for some reason it bothers them to admit it.
