I think it has got to be Stefan Edberg. He is one of the most gracious losers I have ever seen in any sport. I have never seen him pissed off after losing a match. Even when he was No. 1, he always acknowledged his opponents for beating him.
Also, Edberg was legendary for his generosity with volunteers at tournaments. He was known to leave autographed souvenirs and generous tips for kids volunteering at tournaments.
By the way, the ATP's sportsmanship award is named after Stefan Edberg.

I like all three. Roger Federer did some charity work in South Africa. Stefan Edberg and Patrick Rafter are great volleyers who were #1 in their time. Never read anything negative about them so they must be great sportman.

Federer is grace, class and overall tennis genius( 12 Grand Slams) rolled into one. When he won the Australian Open a short while ago and he cried after he received his trophy from Rod Laver,he showed how classy and humbled he was by the moment. He is such an incredible ambassador for the sport.

This too funny for words, but a couple of years ago it could have been me. I went to computer class to learn before I purchased and the first thing I was taught was the plug into the wall , then second is it turned on and third was check for power!!!! C-prompt was a sign that I lost the program and upon occasion I lost it!!! It makes you feel so smart. Try buying the computer professor 80.00 a whack thats what he could have used!!!!

i say edburg. such a gentleman from every angle. no question. federer is also a gentleman, but sometimes he tends to do some strange things. like scream ay!! when he messes up or get mad over the challenge system. rafter was VERY classy, but overall i'm going to go with edburg.
