Hello Elric,

Henman has always been a winner as far as I am concerned.

Although he did not win Wimbledon for us he has been one of the best ambassadors in the world of English sport.

Everytime he played, he played to win and was always gracious in triumph and defeat.

Henman also revived a dwindling British interest in tennis.

We have at least 2 more potential winners in Jamie & Andrew Murray, and I do feel that either one, or indeed both have the ability to take that elusive Wimbledon crown.

Jamie did us proud in the doubles of the Davis Cup rubber this afternoon and both he and Henman complimented each other admirably.

Goodbye Tim and very grateful thanks.

The only time I ever saw Henman lose his rag was many years ago when he wildly hit a ball and hit a ball girl in the head. He was heavily fined for that and he has been a perfect gentleman ever since.

Lets not forget though that Henman is English but the Murrays' are Scottish. That does not matter, they are still British and they both helped get British tennis back into the Davis Cup proper.

Tim Henman probably the most successfully British player in the modern era look at the competition he has had over the last ten years, we all wish the Murry's well but they will have to go a long way to beat his record

Easier said than done man! If all the others were better than Tim, ....where have they been hiding? Even Murray has not really come up to Tim's standard as yet although he has good potential. Come on! give credit to Tim - he's one of your country's very best still. He's proven on what he did, did he not?

Onwards and upwards...I can see Murray winning in Paris or New York, but he's never going to win Wimbledon...
