There are a few active black players in tennis right now, all of which are very talented even if they're not well known.
Venus WIlliams, Serena Williams, James Blake, Ahsha Rolle, Mashona Washington, Angela Haynes, Scoville Jenkins, Donald Young, etc.

There are black tennis players..
On the womens side there is the Williams sisters
On the mens side there is up and comer Donald Young, and then Scoville Jenkins (i think, but i'm pretty sure about).
There are black tennis players for sure. Probably in ITF or up and coming pro tennis players but in my club, there are many black tennis players :)

Of course, there are black tennis players . . . some who have even attained high rankings.
Ex:
From the past: Althea Gibson, Arthur Ashe, Yannick Noah (of Cameroonian and French descent)
More recently: Venus and Serena Williams, James Blake, etc.

Serena and Venus Williams, who are both black twins (I think twins, possibly just biological sisters), are considered by many the best tennis players of today's time.

maybe what he's saying is that why are there very few black persons in tennis. Well admit it or not each race really has their own home sport. African americans are more towards contact sports like basketball and american football
