What do you think? At 17, Sharapova has won Wimbledon and before she was 20, she already won another grand slam, US Open. Does her career peak too early and starts to go downhill from now or does she still have very bright future?

Hello people, Sharapova is human. She is just having an off year , it does happen. She is also only 20 as well. She is also contending with a shoulder injury. I don't think I would be so quick to write her off. just yet. Hell, I am not even a fan of hers, but I suspect we have not seen the end of Miss Sharapova.

Sometimes bad things happen to good people. Sounds like you have reached the point where you longer recognise yourself or your life. It's important to remember you are still the same person that you were in February and you can get your life back. Yes there will be red tape, but it does not mean it's impossible. Does not sound like you are a loser to me if you are surviving on a tight budget, going to TA and taking part in sport. There should not be an 'apart from that I'm a loser' in your sentence. To get your life back you need to start being kinder to yourself, thinking about any positives you may have in your life, anything you have done in a day that you are proud of. You may be in a rough end of town but think of it as a temporary situation and one that you can learn from. There is no harm in trying again - what have you got to lose? Maybe you should try volunteering somewhere cool for one day a week just to get a good reference, build your skills and self-esteem and demonstrate on your cv you have been doing constructive things with your time. That way when you try again you will have something really positive to talk about. Good luck and stay positive.

Sharapova is recovering from some injuries right now--that's why her playing has been off.

She's a good player but she's not great.

Her #2 rating in the world is like that because she plays in a lot of matches. If she continues to play in all those matches, then yes, her future will be bright.

I do think that she has peaked a bit early because of some of the struggles she's been having with injuries the past year, but do think that she still has a bright future ahead.

This year wasn't great for Sharapova, but She still has years before her career comes to an end.

She reached the peak of this period of her life. As soon as she realize what are the problems in her game and how to fix them, she'll be back on track.

she will dominate the world of tennis if she doesn't get so many injuries. this year, she could've donw so much but a shoulder and ankle injuries have kept her sidelined for most of this year and basically half of last year. hopefully she'll stay healthy to dominate.
