I feel a bit disappointed because i was excited when i saw the draw and noticed that Sharapova would play Vaidisova in 4th round for the 1st time ever. That would be an interesting match. But both of them blew that away by losing in 3rd set. What a disappointment. :(

I did not know that Sharapova and Vaidisova could play in 4th Round.....

Both of these players met some of the best returners in the Game......
Angieska Radwanska......When I saw her I thought her seeding should be 3 and not 30 (LOL!! Just Kidding!!).....But Sharapova herself said..."Right from th beginning ...It just wasn't there.....I mean my Game...Even when I won few straight games...it just wasn't there...."......

Shahar Peer.......who I feel is the Best Chaser in the Game.....I mean SHe can literaly hit the ball from each and every corner.....I saw the ending of the match.....Vaidisova did not anything wrong...Peer was simply getting to each and every ball.......And she even pumped her fist after winning......

Shrapova did blew her chance......But Vaidisova ...I feel she was a little under-practised......She did not play any match before the US Open...And Peer who can chase down 99% of the balls....had the uper hand in that Final set tie-break...

maria sharapova vs nicole vaidisova...sounds great..but this tournament is a big surprise.now it is more interesting...maybe it is not fair because both sister wiliams, justine henin and jelena jankovic are in the same part of the draw.it will be hard to reach the semis.on the other side svetlana kuznetsova and anna chakvetadze are very close to their semis...but who knows???maybe we will see another surprise today...

Both are doomed to loose. Sharapova may not even win any
more grand slams. She lacks killer instincts.
Vadisova is an upcoming player and she also has similar
problems.
Unless these 2 players, do overcome these fears and develop
killer instincts do not count them to win grand slams.

Both are very pretty, so is Ivanovic and she also lost but time has change, the women draw are deeper now, many lower seeds now are capable of upsetting higher seed.
