I don't know that he's ready to win on the biggest stage in tennis. He's talented but it comes down to execution at the right time and if he goes to the final to play Federer, he won't be able to afford to make mistakes. I think with a little more big match play, Djokovic will be ready and maybe win a slam in 2008.

Federer is just in such a different and historic level and I'm sure Djokovic always thinks about this. However, at this point, a finals result would not be surprising. I think ever since the middle of last year, it has been this way concerning Djokovic. You feel sure that he will pull through naturally. He is very mature and able to handle the level he's in for his age, and he is very natural in his talent and game so this helps so much as he is one of those rare players (almost like Federer level) who has the gift to just do what they do but because they are so naturally good, that this gets them to higher ground. What can you do, right? Just play.

Although Djokovic has been playing great, he still lacks the skills to beat Federer in the finals now. Later on however, he probably will

I think Djokovic hasn't reached that level of maturity yet.
Djokovic will go far - but for now, Federer will win.
Later, I can see it happening.

Yes, I think he'll get all the way to the final and give Roger a very close match.

well novak has been playing tremendous tennis these past few days...great player to watch muchos entertaining...
he still has a roadblock in his draw...going by the spanish bull monicker...unless rafa losses to ferrer..that is
i do think rafa will also be out for novaks scalp after the loss in montreal...
if novaks were to beat rafa...then comes the mother of all roadblocks...fedex...
most definately out to avenge his loss at montreal...its gonna be a feat to watch these two battle it out...

He definitely has the look of a hunter. He's a man on a mission and he will not be denied. I say YES - he's going all the way.

its a possibility. Ferrer has to beat Rafa first, because Novak will have more of a challenge vs Rafa than Ferrer.
