Does anybody knows a good workout for swimming ? I swimm about 3 years ,and i m trying to coach myself. I m a begginer intermediate swimmer.

Can anyone explain how I'm suppose to kick narrow while doing it in a round whipkick?

like positioning your body so the water can flow over it perfectly, or any good ways to swing your arms to pull yourself through the water???

When I had swimming lessons my instructor told me to kick as wide as possible. Now that I've watched some videos and gone for training and stuff I found out that compeditive swimmers don't kick as wide.

Pictures would be helpful or a link to a website with pictures. Thanks.

Not, to be cocky, but I'm good at swimming. I made varstiy this year (my sophomore year in highschool). I'm one of the slower people on Varsity, but I keep up well. I miss JV alot because I was on JV last year and alot of my friends are on JV. I kinda wanna do JV again, but there is this guy in my Biology class fourth period that likes me. He told me so himself. And I really like him too. The problem is, if I do JV, JV is fourth period so I won't be in Biology with this guy anymore and I don't see him at all except for that class. Varsity is first period by the way. Which should I choose? They guy or JV?

like how many days you swim and how many days weight-lifting, do you swim on weekends, winter break and summer holidays?

Does anyone have any suggestions or tips on how to improve the butterfly stroke for competitive swim? I'm a high school swimmer who will most likely be swimming the 100 Fly in meets, and I'm looking for encouragement and ideas on how to look and feel more confident in my fly.
