My daughter 5 has been taking swimming lessons. I am an OK swimmer but do not know the proper techniques. Could someone give me some tips to tell her about how to use her legs while kicking. She has a tendacy to let her legs sink even when kicking some. especially when she raises her head. Thanks in advance

After swim practice, I usually stay for additional laps, some of the girls will stay as well, but they get me in the 12 ft portion of the pool and pull me down to the bottom and hold me. They take turns switching. They even sometimes take my racer brief off me. I have told my coach, she said she would take care of this. HELP!

My girlfriend wears a G-String, and of course I love it. I have been noticing many women wearing tiny G-Strings. Is this a new trend? I hope it is..lol

I asked this question yesterday. I know there are girls/women out there that have peed in a pool or get out of it and just peed in their yard. A wet suit is a pain and so isn't going into a cold air conditioned house. Let's get some honest replies.

For some reason, you see hours and hours of golf on TV. They show racecar driving on ESPN, I dunno why, I don't think that's a sport. I would like to be able to follow college swimmin, waterpolo, and diving the same way people follow baseball, and football on TV. If there's a channel, I'd buy whatever package you need to buy to get it.

Do you just wade in the water to cool off? Dive in and swim for fitness? Swim under water as far as you can just for kicks? Dive? Splash around? Cannonball? Pool or Ocean? Just tell me what swimming means to you.

It is impossible for me to stay under water or dive to the bottom of a pool, no matter what I do or how hard I try. If someone tries to hold me down, the person must use excessive force. I pop up to the surface like a cork and floats there, sometimes on my back, sometimes on my stomach. My weight is normal and we would like to know why I am like this, while all my friends can dive and sinks to the bottom if they blow out all the air in their lungs?

I swam for 10 years, and competed for the last 4 at the national level on a college team. I retired a few years ago when I graduated mostly because I was frustrated and unhappy with the sport, but also because I had to start a career. I was extremely happy with my free time for about 6 months, but now I miss it. Joining another team is impossible because my job requires me to travel 20 days out of the month. I find that I mostly miss the cyclical quality of a swimming lifestyle, going from off season, to training, to peak training, taper, and then starting all over again. I feel like I have nothing to strive for in the short term like I used to especially since work promotions only happen every 3-4 years. Has anyone experienced anything similar to this and is there anything I can do to feel better?
