When im swimming i always float but my friend sinks right to the bottom of the pool- is that normal?

I am a softmore in highschool and I was wondering about how I could sort out something. Okay I do not have a job and i'm not in sports either. I would like to try the swim team, you have to go to atleast 4 practices a week. Now, I want to get a part time job too. I need the job to pay off for my to be car and for future things like college and stuff. I know the swim team and a job would collide. I don't know which one to pick. Oh yeah and the swim team also has morning practices too.

Flags are out of the question. No flags in our community pool. I want to do a straight backstroke as possible to avoid hitting othere swimmers. Any tips for me?

I want to bleach my hair blonde, but I swim 7 days a week, and I don't want my hair to become brittle and break off. Does anyone know if the chlorine from the pool combined with the bleach in my hair will cause it to break off?

I'm based in London and have just got my PADI Openwater Diver Cert. I'm keen for me and a buddy to go on a diving break - but don't know the best way to go about it. Are there any London clubs that organise such trips (either in or outside the UK) or any holiday companies that specialise in diving jaunts? Or is it better to get a standard hoilday to a scuba resort (i.e. Sharm El Sheikh) and organise the dive trip when I'm there?

my dad and i scuba dive (hes an instructor) and he personally likes diving in lakes and flooded coreys. I think it would be good to dive in a underwater mine...if you have any expierience please tell me and where you went, i would love to do that with my dad. I'm very fair, tans rather slowly, but do not burn easily (I'm Asian).
I've been using the Banana Boat Dark Tanning Lotion SPF 4 during swimming, and have developed a light tan. However, I'm intrigued by Banana Boat's Dark Tanning Oil. It does not contain any sunscreen so the Dark Tanning Lotion's SPF 4 comes in. My question is: a) Does the Oil really help with getting a darker tan? b) Can I use it together with the tanning lotion when swimming? c) How should I apply it? Lotion first followed by oil or vice versa? d) Is the oil waterproof as I'll be swimming with the oil on my body throughout my tanning session? (I appreciate a point-by-point answer so that I'm certain your answer meets my question.) Thanks in advance!
