In my opinion, I believe skydiving would be a blast! That is something I would like to do in the near future. Just imaging the moment when you overcome the hesitation of jumping out of an airplane and stare down the enormous distance to the earth....freefalling for moment after moment, exhilarating...plunging to the earth when finally you open the parachute and everything starts to settle as you drift to the ground.
Something else I'd like to do, and holds some resemblence to skydiving, is basejumping. I think the rush would be comparable to skydiving.
Are you seriously thinking about skydiving? I hear everyone's first jump is a tandem jump. I'm not certain if that is true.
Look around the internet and ask freinds and coworkers for reputable and nearby skydiving facilities.
Inquire about the training and preparation processes.

Yes it is fun to skydive! Very scary at first, it was all I could do to actually jump out of the plane but once I did it was the biggest rush I've ever had.

that depends on if the parachute decides to open. with the technology these days, who knows. they could have a mind of thier own.

It is one of the biggest rushes I have ever experienced. Even after doing it several times, it continues to be almost better than sex - "almost".

yes---the adrenaline rush is great!
The only thing not fun would be if the parachute failed to open...risky...
