The gun is a Tikka T3 7mm mag with a 3-9x40 Monarch Matte BDC scope (made by nikon). I am looking for a bipod that i would be using for prone position shooting. I do competition shooting. What bipod should i get, i was looking at a harris pivoting bipod that has a height of 11-25". Would that be to tall because there is one that is 6-9" and another one that is 8-13". What do you think of my setup and what bipod should i get?

Everyone knows Lee Harvey Oswald didn't do it - h3ll he couldn't shoot a Big Barn Door painted bright pink such was his official marine marksmanship record, let alone pull off a magical 3 ACCURATE shots through heavy foilage under 6 seconds with a defective old manual bolt action carbine 'rifle' - notwithstanding the simple fact that the 'kill' shot was via the front right - grassy knoll picket fence or dealey plaza drain area etc

Hello competitive shooters. I just got back from my first high power rifle match in years. I had a great time but didn't much like the prone position. I need a comfortable position that doesn't require much muscle tension (due to illness, my muscles will never be very strong). I can't find many pictures of how others setup for prone shooting. with any rifle, never mind the AR15. Any suggestions on positions? Any books you can recommend? Any ideas where I can see lots of pictures of other people's prone positions?

Micheal Sullivan is interim director of BATFE. Strongly supported by Ted Kennedy. Was ATF director in Massachusetts. You see how well that worked for them. As interim for BATFE the bureau has attacked numerous dealers for minor clerical errors. In Idaho they are after Reds Trading Post, and double counting violations. His nomination vote is coming up soon. Contact your senators to block the nomination.

my friend i met at sunday school said there was a story on the news about a man getting shot seven times in the face/head/and neck with a .22 caliber semi-auto smith+wesson. I said BS but they did it on myth busters and it proved possible to survive. So if I took a handgun pointed it down my throat and loaded my upper body with lead 7 times, there is a chance I'd live? What is the cheapest .45 ACP ammo available that will not hurt the gun and functions properly.

Bought some Mexican stuff, just under 15usd a box. Haven't tried it, does it work?

The cheapest I can find in my catalogs is just under 12usd a box, Blazer. Speer bullets w/ CCI primers. Is this stuff OK? I notice the local range does not allow it, why?

Where do you guys get your .45acp? I look for sales at Sporting Goods stores but I also want to know of a steady supply that has a consistently low price. Thanks for any help.

I was looking at the Cx4 online and wasn't sure if it's legal here in Cali? I suppose it should be since it's just a small rifle.

What are the prices of these? I was thinking of selling an XD and getting one of these instead...

Opinions?
