Me & a buddy cannot agree on if this is true or not. In the movies you see the bad guys tape a plastic 2-liter type bottle to the end of a gun & they use it as a silencer . . . . .do you think it would really work?

When I shoot the gun it hurts my thumbs and trigger finger.

They said it was a good rifle and since it is no longer made would be fairly valuable and would only increase in value. To scope it or alter it in any way would ruin the value. My question is: How much is it worth? It is a Winnchester Model 94 30-30 in good but not excellent condition. This is just for my information as I have no intention of ever selling it.

We are not afraid of recoil. I want a gun that shoots a bullet that can be used for target practice, but when the time comes to hunt small game, or deer. Once again could he fire it from the bench postion, or standing up? How bad would the recoil be (bad, really bad,ok...) Thank you

My hubby got a nice 10 pointer. And processed it himself. Kept the "rack" to mount it. But he's not sure about how to clean it or bleach it. He wants to mount the rack. Someone mentioned to him soaking it in salt water??
