Value would be about the same + or - $20-40 per % of the value on the .22/.410, depending on the particular Model 24.
It's true that the Blue Book of Gun Values in printed form may be a year out of date on values, and values may vary in different areas of the USA, but when you get the online subscription, values are changed more frequently than the printed version.
You can buy the latest printed version (27th Edition) for $39.95 or the online version for $34.95 for one year subscription. I got 2 years online back in October for $49.95.
Link to the online version is below.

If you only need prices on a gun or two per year it might not be worth the price, but if you buy, sell, and trade frequently, it can pay for itself quickly. Then again, if you get $50.00 more out of ONE gun than you thought you could before buying the book, it just paid for itself.
While some people may not agree with ALL the pricing info, it gives you a good place to compare pricing, find info between similar models, look up serial numbers on many popular guns, get info on each company, etc. And, most dealers will buy, sell, and trade with figures from the blue book over any other publication.
As always, a gun is only worth what another will pay for it and sentimental value will either gain you money when another person wants your particular gun, or cost you money if another person has "exactly" what you've been looking for.

I had a Savage M 24V in 30-30/20ga - nice firearm > unfortunately I traded it away about 25 years ago. Check these sites for ones in similar condition to yours to get a relative value

I don't generally recommend the Blue Book of Gun Values as a good source of info on a guns worth, because the BB is printed and printed info is old info when it comes to firearms...But, in this case you could probably get a good idea from the Blue Book...Thumb through one the next time you're at Wal Mart(etc)

Once the condition has been established then the value can be determined.
