well congratulations on choosing to duck hunt. Some tips would be get your hunter safety and appropriate hunting licences your ready to go.
If you want some practice get someone to throw some clay pigeons for you and you can simulate duck hunting. It will give you an idea on how you should be shooting when it comes to ducks.
Last but not least go hunting with an avid duck hunter and he/she can show you some tricks of the trade to get you closer and better shots and more ducks.
Happy Hunting
Hope that helps

Along with a hunter safety course that you will need to get your license, you should also take a waterfowl identification course. There are many different species of ducks and depending on where you are hunting, you can't always take every kind. Also you should be able to tell the difference between the drakes(males) and hens (females). There should be a Ducks Unlimited Chapter near you so contact them and they'll be more than willing to help. Also, there are many videos available to help you learn to call ducks. Some calls come with a DVD or CD to get you started. Good luck with your hunting.

Out of all the types of hunting that I do Duck Hunting is the most exciting!
You should be able to find someone locally that would be willing to take under their wing and show you the ropes.
Look for a local Ducks Unlimited Chapter and inquire with them. You will find no more willing people to help "Greenwings" then the members of DU.
A "Greenwing" is the youth portion of DU and I have put the link to join it below.
I have put a link to some tips below for you to look at.
If you lived near me I would be willing to help anyway I could.

First and foremost you need to pass the hunter safety course to get your hunting license.

dude...No...please don't ask a bunch of people online how to hunt. You need a responsible adult to take you out (physically) and show you the ropes...and please make sure you take hunters safty class.
