First off, the Ruger 10/22 and Remington 597 are semi-automatic rifles---they don't come in bolt or lever action in those models. Between the two, the 10/22 is the better rifle and much easier to breakdown and clean. As far as semi-automatic, lever or bolt action.....bolt action rifles will be the most accurate. Bolt actions come in single shot or magazine fed. Semi-autos come magazine fed. Most lever actions are tube fed (where there is a tube under the barrel that is filled with the cartridges).

Put your name on the waiting list!
I recall that 597 and the Viper suffered from really bad magazine design. That's a pity because other tthan that it's a great .22.
ALSO.....your rifle does not use a "clip", it uses a magazine.
The two are distinct in the gun world......but Hollywood has mislead millions of folks. Call it a 'magazine' or a 'mag' and you show that you know your stuff!

Simply said "you can't". Its difficult to made a .22LR clip that will hold more then 10 rd because it wont feed right, The ruger 10/22 one of the only one's able to do it.
