I live on the Huron River in Michigan and I catch a ton of 5 to 20lb. Carp.I would like to thin out the numbers a bit. Any suggestions? any Ideas on cooking them ? Burring them will cause a stench because there would be too many.Any Ideas would be appreciated. Thanx. KEEP FISHING!!!!!!!!!

I'm going bass fishing this weekend and I'm will be using my baitcast reel. I was wondering wichline works best for this. I was thinking Trilene xl in #12, but I'm considering xt in #10 or MAXX in #10. Wich is better from expirence?

And where/how did you catch it? My personal best is a 220 pound halibut I caught in Alaska. It was so big that we had to harpoon it and we had 40 pounds of fillets each in garbage bags. I've hooked many mako and tiger sharks bigger than that but never got them to the boat. Best fish story gets 10 points!

I use a 10 feet rod and catch small fishes all the time, but i have to keep feeling the rod for jerks all the time. I notice many guys just leave their rod and wait for the fish to get stuck to thier hooks. It has never happed with me. Is it that they use some special hooks or special Bait. What about the line do they keep it loose or tight. Help will be apprciated

boring. There's bugs, bees, snakes. Then there's chicken liver, worms, ewwwwww. I can go to the store and buy plenty of fresh fish, cleaned and boned, ready to cook, for what they pay for a fishing license and bait and the time wasted! What is the facination? (Plus, I don't have to screw up a whole day for a pan ful of fish either!) Please explain this to me.

Do I intentionally run it completly down when I get home and then charge it.... I've heard it needs to have a very low output before I charge it but that kinda doesn't make sense to me.

I fished 2 small coves. I used bobber and nightcrawlers. I don't understand how even bluegill didn't bite. I never had a single bite. I finally switched over to a minnow looking crankbait, but didn't have any luck with it either. How can I find the fish? Seems I'll have a day where I catch everything, then another when I don't even get a bite. The water was glass clear, warm, and it was from 2pm-6pm. If any of that info makes a difference.
